Work
I've been working a lot lately. It's okay. That way I'm sure I can sleep at night. No sense in staying awake thinking about things I cannot change.
I've been making a kennel for David and Alan's dog. David calls it Toto now. That's good. I didn't like he called it Dog. It reminded me of Ma.
Now he wants me to make a chicken coop. I'm not to tell Alan but I don't really see how Alan can avoid noticing if there's suddenly a lot of chickens in his backyard. Seeing as how they are noisy. And smell a bit.
Callie haven't been back. I miss her.
Jimmy's been in an accident so I am looking after Julie for a while. And Darth Maul has stopped trying to choke me to death when I sleep. Now she just tries to trip me up when I have to take a piss at night.
She's really clever though. And she hasn't ruined the plants Callie gave me.I water them everyday. If they stay alive she'll come back to me.

I've missed you too.
He stretches one leg out, wincing a little.

"You okay?" he asks softly, watching Clay's face. "Shit... have I hurt you?"
no subject
I*m okay. Just out of practice.
He moves onto his side, resting his head on Weps' arm.

Clay is grinning broader now, one hand stroking slowly up and down Weps' side.
I have missed you though.
A softer smile.
no subject
"Missed you too," he murmurs, "but I'm here now. And here for you if you need me." He returns the smile. "And I don't just mean like this - unless you want the practice, of course..."
no subject
I know.
It's nice. He's missed this. A lot. Missed Weps.
He burrows closer and kisses him on the side of his neck.
no subject
Weps sighs and closes his eyes, glad of their secluded position as he really is in no hurry to move.
no subject
Unguarded, his face looks tired and worn, and one hand stays curled around Weps's wrist.

Hi there.
He yawns.
no subject
"We haven't done much fishing," he says with a smile. "Fancy coming back to the house for some coffee and a bite to eat?"
no subject
Clay sat up and scrubbed at his face, yawning. Coffee would be good.
no subject
Weps rolls over and retrieves Clay's jeans and shirt from the sand and then his own. "Think those were yours," he says with a smile, lying on his back and struggling into his pants.

"You look so like Jed standing there- all sleepy and mussed up.. his hair does that as well..."
He picks up the unused fishing tackle and looks at Clay.
"You can take a shower at my place if you want..."
no subject
What is it with you people and showering?
Then he grins and slings an arm around Weps's shoulder.
Lead the way my friend.
no subject
"Shit... I didn't mean you needed one... just thought you might like one with the sand and us and..." He looks down, suddenly feeling rather foolish.
no subject
Then he winks. And I don't mind smelling of you. I rather like it in fact.
no subject
He curls an arm round Clay's neck and kisses up his jaw from chin to ear. "The feeling's mutual," he murmurs, "and I'm rather partial to the taste of you as well."
no subject
no subject
"Don't say I didn't offer ... coffee it is."
Weps puts the kettle on to boil and points to the table and chairs next to the stove. "Take a load off."

He takes a mouthful of coffee and looks at Clay's tired face. "Are things any more settled in your life - with Callie?"
no subject
He nods to himself. Has gotten a tattoo. She says I'm in it as well but, I don't know.
He smiles tiredly at Weps. I miss her. She still comes to see me though. She called and was lonely and I sang to hear. You know, bird-song? I guess she misses me too sometimes.
Another shrug.
