sometimes I go a little mad ...
Clay is a mute carpenter who used to live in a forest with Callie. Then Darkly Noon showed up and everything jumped in the famed handbasket and went on a trip.

Clay used to make coffins but he can fix just about anything. He smokes, drinks beer, imitates birdsong flawlessly, and is really good at coin tricks.

When he enters the Bar, he does so after the end of his canon. He limps from the axe wound to his knee, and he has been told just what Callie said to Darkly when the house went up in flames. He is a disappointed man.

Everything in italics is signed. Clay does not know ASL or any other form official sign languages. But he is good at communication, so feel free to have your pup understand all, some, or nothing. He's got a pad, he'll use it if everything else fails. Or to begin with - just to avoid awkwardness. Text in quotes is written.
