I've been working a lot lately. It's okay. That way I'm sure I can sleep at night. No sense in staying awake thinking about things I cannot change.

I've been making a kennel for David and Alan's dog. David calls it Toto now. That's good. I didn't like he called it Dog. It reminded me of Ma.

Now he wants me to make a chicken coop. I'm not to tell Alan but I don't really see how Alan can avoid noticing if there's suddenly a lot of chickens in his backyard. Seeing as how they are noisy. And smell a bit.

Callie haven't been back. I miss her.

Jimmy's been in an accident so I am looking after Julie for a while. And Darth Maul has stopped trying to choke me to death when I sleep. Now she just tries to trip me up when I have to take a piss at night.

She's really clever though. And she hasn't ruined the plants Callie gave me. ~~I water them everyday. If they stay alive she'll come back to me.~~

Clay shrugs again.

No sense in getting worked up about things being the way they are.

He scratches his chin.

I miss my old uncomplicated life. But I'm okay. Now.

"Sorry... don't mean to stir things up - just concerned about my friend... that's all."

Weps picks up his rods and tackle.

"And I miss how we were before..."

Clay gets comfortable and grins at Weps. Which parts of it?

The weather is nice. He doesn't have to be anywhere. Do anything. Life is fairly good.

Weps grins back and gives Clay a friendly shove in the arm.

Clay grins at him. Then his smile turns warm and quiet.

Weps smiles and nods...

"Actually, I was going to say your inability to shut up..."

This makes Clay laugh. Silently, eyes crinkled with mirth.

Weps grins and begins to laugh too. It's good to see Clay laugh like this.

"So, shut up loudmouth... and give us a hug."

Clay puts both arms around Weps and gives him a long, warm hug. He smells nice. He closes his eyes, just for a little bit, to enjoy the feeling.

Weps sighs and kisses Clay's hair, returning the embrace.

"Mmm, that's what I call a hug... you feel so warm and good... you always did - and I reckon you always will..."

Clay nuzzles Weps' neck a little, his lips brushing warm skin. It's not a kiss he tells himself. SO it's all right.

Weps sighs at the moth like touch of Clay's mouth on his skin - in truth it's a bit more of a moan as he reflexively pulls Clay closer, rubbing his cheek against the unruly blond hair.

Clay's eyes stay closed as he relaxes into the touch, feeling the heat of Weps' body pressed against his own.

"So good... so warm against me, Clay - kiss me..." Weps murmurs, running a finger along Clay's stubbled jaw.

Clay pulls back a little, just enough topress his mouth against Weps, lips dry and searching.

"Yes," Weps whispers, and presses his lips to Clay's gently at first, tasting - remembering - and then more insistently. He licks at Clay's lips with the tip of his tongue, encouraging him, with the softest of moans to open his mouth...

Not losing contact with Clay's mouth, Weps presses him gently down into the warm sand with the weight of his own body. Bringing his hands up to hold Clay's head, he tips it back to deepen the kiss, exploring the wonderfully warm mouth with his tongue and moaning softly in the back of his throat to let Clay know how much he's enjoying this contact after so long.

Weps feels the press of Clay's body against his and he lifts his mouth, smiling down at him and breathing a little faster.

"Want to touch you, feel your skin against mine," he murmurs, trailing his fingers across the base of Clay's throat.

Clay answers by reaching up and unbuttoning his shirt. His lips are parted and his eyes have grown dark.

Weps smiles and pulls back to push Clay's shirt from his shoulders. Then he pulls his own t-shirt over his head and lies down half on top of Clay, sighing as his chest touches the warmth of the other man's skin.

"Geez... I've missed the feel of you," Weps whispers as with a soft groan, he lowers his head and licks down Clay's chest to capture a nipple between his lips, sucking it softly and rolling his tongue around it.

Clay gasps, letting his head fall back.

He is already hard and aching. He has missed being touched so much. Missed Weps's hands, his mouth.

His hands move restlessly on Weps's back, mapping the muscles, feeling strength and gentleness.

Weps trails his hand down Clay's belly and unfastens his jeans. He lifts his mouth again to look into dark cloudy eyes as he gently curls his fingers round Clay's cock.

Clay trembles up into Weps's touch and grasps hold of his free hand, placing at his sternum.
