Weps grabs Clay's hand and holds it between his own.
"No - he might not have meant to hurt you but it was still his fault. The only person he wanted was Viggo. He knew you weren't Viggo, but he still went after you. He tried to hit on me too - but he didn't get anywhere. Pierce tried as well. Sean's a mess; he and Pierce deserve each other. You're too good for him, Clay."
Weps looks down at the warm rough hand between his. "Sorry..." he whispers and lets go of Clay's hand.
