"I know..." Weps replies, looking into Clay's eyes, "we often wish we could go back to a time when we thought things were simpler, better, easier."
He sighs and kisses Clay's forehead.
"But we can't go back and even if we could, things wouldn't be as we thought they'd be. We tend to remember only the good times..."
